A 23-year-old contestant on the German show Wetten Dass..? (Wanna bet..?) seriously injured himself Saturday night while trying to jump over a car driven by his father. After he fell and lay motionless on the floor, the show was stopped, even though Take That and Justin Bieber still had to perform.
According to the hospital's spokesperson, the man is showing "signs of paralysis" with serious spinal cord and neck vertebrae damage.
